"I came, I saw, I conquered." - Julius Caesar
Congratulations on enrolling in one of the most challenging, yet rewarding classes of your high school career. It is in this course that you will find the unknown becomes the known and you will have a greater grasp of how the past has determined our present. This is by no means a course to be taken lightly, but rather one you should embrace and approach with your fullest determination. If you do, I assure you that you will feel empowered in your new knowledge and more ready to take on your future path (and AP test!). Be sure to follow us at @MedwayEHAP and @RojeeHistory!
This course will begin in 1450 and journey through modern times, stopping to explore the changing views of man, politics, God, and science. A great deal of this class will focus on the investigation of history and not simply a one-sided, wold-view nor will you be simply handed the information you need to know. In that, the willingness to take risks in your learning as well as support your peers in their learning endeavors is of the utmost importance and truly the key to your success as a student and our success as a class.
